I was recently surprised to find myself reading Philip Reeve’s “Mortal Engines”. I was surprised because when I heard the synopsis it sounded just a little bit too far-fetched.
It is too far-fetched, but wonderfully so. It’s got great characters and a plot of discovery that has you constantly wondering who are the good guys who are the bad buys.
Looking forward to the sequels now.
