The time is drawing near to re-build the church website, and it’s looking like it’s going to be based on Mambo.

I’m looking forward to it, oddly.

I’m wondering how many blogging tools could be joined up?
This was written on Google docs, posted to jonesthenet.com/notes, picked up by twitterfeed, and dropped on Twitter from where it could be distributed by text message. Of course, being too large for Twitter it needs a small detour via bit.ly.
Does anyone really need all that?!

Confusing, but powerful!

So, I’ve been playing with Twitter. The tweets I like most are sent to my mobile phone as texts, and I can tweet by sending a text. That’s cool.

Now I find that I can tweet by posting here on Notes, and that these posts will be sent to Twitter within the hour…

I tried to post a blog item by email but it didn’t quite work!

Hmmm. If I get this working I should be able to blog by MMS from my phone.

Just part of the love/hate relationship we all have with technology.

I’m connected

I’ve resisted doing this for some time, but have finally given in and subscribed to Facebook and Twitter.

It was partly driven by some stuff we do in work and partly a way to keep connected with friends from some time ago.
