Northwest Partnership Ministry Training

On September 21st I’m starting a training course. This is odd for me as I never expected to embark on any learning activity after leaving university (other than bits & pieces of work training, of course)!

Work

This week has remarkably few meetings and conference calls scheduled because of the large number of people on leave, as well as there being that peculiar lull in activity following the delivery of a significant deadline.

It’s in such weeks that you realise how much of your professional time is taken up with meetings.

Sidmouth holiday

We went on holiday to Sidmouth, Devon, staying in a hotel called Sidholme which is part of the Christian Guild Holidays group. The hotel is old and full of quirky features, but has decent facilities including an indoor pool and a remarkable music room.
