So, Day 6 in Unemployment House and I’ve hardly begun all those things I thought I’d get into “if only I had more time”.
I’ve given two days over to meeting agencies, and am off to Manchester to do it again on Monday, but when you’re used to intensive travelling and working it’s downright weird to step off the treadmill.
I’ve begun to do one thing I’ve always wanted to do though: Learn to sight-read music. Thanks to the Wirral Mandoliers I’ve picked up a book on Beginning Mandolin to get me off chords and into the meat of the thing.
Is this what retirement is like?
